Creative meditation is deeply relaxing and helps release tension and stress in the body. A meditative state encourages healing, well-being and encourages one’s own ability to solve life problems. We are multidimensional beings and meditation helps to gain clarity of thought, galvanise the body and remind us who we truly are. Meditation teaches you to access the peace within you and not rely on external sources to provide a substitute. By accessing the stillness within us and around us, the mind becomes quieter, a space of silence arises and one feels totally in the NOW. In this relaxed space you solve your own problems. It can be a voyage of self-discovery, which enables change to enter your life.
There are a number of positives to meditation including an improved memory, more creativity and a stronger immune system. On a spiritual level, meditation will eliminate negative emotions, purify your thoughts and awaken your mind. Creative meditation will help you to build positive pictures and give them life, giving your thoughts energy and visualising your positivity. I can introduce you to creative meditation, and guide you, as you paint and explore yourself using the powers of imagery and creativity.
Yoga nidra or yoga sleep is a powerful meditation technique that is perhaps the easiest of all yoga practices. I often hear people saying that they are unable to perform yoga because many of the poses are difficult but anyone can perform yoga nidra. Yoga nidra takes you through the five layers of self, leaving you with a sense of wholeness. Yoga nidra allows you to be in moment, and helps to release long held emotions, but the real beauty of yoga nidra is that it is something that anyone can do.
Yoga nidra offers a number of great benefits including a connection between the mind and the body. It is akin to a deep sleep, while you are still awake and functioning. You will find that your stress will reduce through a decrease in blood pressure and improved sleep. You may see an improvement in your mental wellbeing as well as a look into your deeper, spiritual self. When you lie and practise the yoga I will guide you, taking you deep into the furthest depths of your consciousness. Then I will safely and slowly bring you back into the present state, leaving you with a renewed sense of being.
