Retreats at the Farm is located in the small idyllic village of Peldon in Essex, which is near Colchester and the seaside coastal village of West Mersea. Situated on Rolls Farm, there are two acres of beautiful countryside surrounding the beautiful 1950s farmhouse. The farmhouse itself has been lovingly restored and is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy a day of tranquil rejuvenation. Adjacent to the farmhouse is the coach house which is used for accommodation, the outside studio which is great for yoga & meditation during summer months and an all year round flower studio. When the weather is good, the gardens outside offer the perfect environment for outside activities, or total solitude if you wish to reconnect with nature.
Learn to create flower designs with a difference, I am a graduate from The Judith Blackstock School of flower design and offer contemporary, vintage and eco friendly floral events here at Rolls Farm.
The fitness studio is located at the far end of the property and there is opportunity to take part in personal training and exercise classes if you so desire.

More and more people are discovering meditation and it is for good reason. Meditation provides a number of scientifically proven benefits including reduced stress, less anxiety and pain relief, amongst many other things. Meditation is not just a sedentary activity but can be practised with movement.
I can help you realise the power of meditation through creative meditation and yoga nidra. The slow movement of creative meditation and yoga nidra offers a number of great benefits, and I can examine your needs and desires to find the right form of meditation for you.
Yoga nidra is an extremely beneficial meditation technique that is designed for everyone. If you feel that regular yoga is too complex or demanding, the movements of yoga nidra are far less onerous, but you will still benefit from the calming effects that yoga offers. Yoga nidra offers profound benefits including better health, less stress and a calmer nervous system. Totally adaptable, yoga nidra can be practised for 5 minutes or 60 minutes. Whatever your needs, I’ll be able to craft the right programme for you.
As a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and counselling supervisor I also offer support for those who have experienced mental and physical trauma. I work within the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) framework and look to understand the complex conditions where abuse occurs and identify ways to alleviate and support your needs. I offer supervision and counselling face to face or through email, it all depends on what works best for you.
